About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Clinical and Research Journal in Internal Medicine ( CRJIM ) is the official open-access journal of Internal Medicine Research Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya, Malang, Indonesia. It publishes articles two times per year. It is a peer-reviewed publication of Indonesian Internal Medicine's journals and accepting articles for publication from around the world. CRJIM only publishes articles in the English version.

The objective of this journal is to publish the selected clinical and basic research relevant to Internal Medicine. It covers the following topics: nephrology, endocrine-metabolic-diabetes, rheumatology, geriatrics, tropic-infection, hematology-oncology. CRJIM publishes original researches, reviews, brief reports, editorial, case series, case reports, and commentary. Additionally, it also considers publishing animal studies relevant to Internal Medicine topic. It is an international journal dedicated to providing new information that could give new insight for alternative solutions, diagnosis, therapy and prevention for researchers and practitioners in Internal Medicine.

Peer Review Process

In the reviewing process, there are at least two reviewers for each manuscript in the related topic. In addition, the author(s) can also propose the candidate of reviewers. Judgment from the first reviewer will be the main priority for the editor to decide if there are only two reviewers. In the case of three reviewers, the decision will be made from at least two reviewers. Three weeks will be needed for the reviewer to complete one round reviewing process.

Generally, the candidate of reviewers will be chosen based on their reputation in the international publication number and quality. Next step, The Editor sends the invitation letter for each candidate of the reviewer. After the candidate of the reviewer informed their availabilities for the reviewing process, the Editor creates an account for each reviewer and then send the manuscript by OJS.

All reviewing process are in blind peer review and managed by editor in the OJS.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Policy of Screening for Plagiarism

All manuscripts must be free from plagiairsm contents. All authors are suggested to use plagiarism detection software to do the similarity checking. Editors check the plagiarism detection of articles in this journal by using Turnitin software. The manuscript of less than 20% will be processed further.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

Repository Policy

The journal allows free access to its contents and permits authors to self-archive the final accepted version of the articles on any OAI-compliant institutional / subject-based repository.

This journal charges the following author fees.

Authors are not required to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process to contribute to review costs.

Article Publication: 0.00 (IDR)
Authors are not required to pay an Article Publication Fee as part of the submission process to cover publications costs.
